hey man, its Coles bro here. just wondering if you explore psychedelics at all? haha. and if so, what can you say about how they affect the artistic process. Im quite interested in what kind of personal experieces people have in relation to art and psychedelics.. both together and individually. Also, was there alot of art at Shambala? im considering going next year after what ive heard and seen from my bro and his pictures. Anyway, have a good one!
psychedelics don't have the ability to make someone a better artist. it's the person who has to recognize how that moment imitates art, and then how to interpret it in such a way that he or she can portray it to him or herself or others faithfully. That in and of itself is a subjective topic to no end, but yeah if you've got a certain frame of mind you can use it in your art. Lots of art at sham, it's everywhere.
